I was asked by Ford in November if I’d be interested in going to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) this month as part of the Ford Blogger Experience, since Search Engine Journal founder Loren Baker couldn’t make it. Since I’m a big car nerd (and we happen to have a 1965 Mustang GT and a 2011 Mustang GT CS parked at our house), I jumped at the chance.

I’ll be in Detroit January 12-14 attending Ford events and sessions surrounding technology and how Ford has utilized advancements like 3D printing and virtual reality to create better cars each year. I’ll also be speaking with Scott Monty, head of Global Digital Communications about social media and current trends us as marketers can look forward to in the new year.

This is my first time going to Detroit and I’m excited to meet the Ford team, as well as the other bloggers that were chosen to participate.
